Jerry and Carol Ford

Carol Ford with her beautiful garden of clivia

The selection for May is Jerry and Carol Ford’s Clivia Miniata garden on Amelia Island. Clivia is native to the shady forest floors of Southern Africa, and in 1854 was taken to England, where it was named to honor Lady Charlotte Clive, duchess of Northumberland.
