Let's Get Healthy Together

12 Week Nutrition and Fitness Program - a program that focuses on Nutrition, Exercise and Muscle Strengthening.

Let’s Get Healthy Together is a program that emphasizes changing lifestyle habits through exercise and nutrition and is being offered by the University of Florida, Nassau County Extension Service.

People who exercise are less likely to develop chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and high blood pressure, and those with chronic diseases find they’re better able to control their diseases if they exercise regularly. Even very small changes in muscle size can make a big difference in strength, especially in people who already have lost a lot of muscle. An increase in muscle that's not even visible to the eye can be all it takes to improve your ability to do things like get up from a chair or climb stairs

Each weekly session will involve stretching and walking
for 55 minutes, and then a Bone-Building Body-Shaping
routine for 50 minutes, followed by a nutrition lesson and
recipe tasting (based on the lesson).
