Crash Course in Florida Gardening 2017
Learn about trees, plants and gardening in Florida during a "Crash Course in North Florida Gardening" two-day seminar for newcomers to Florida on

Rebecca Jordi will conduct the seminars, covering topics on proper landscape practices and plants for the Northeast Florida area.
Registration deadline is Friday, February 3, 2017. Cost is $50 per person or $75 per couple. Cost for registering after February 3rd will be $75 per person, $100 per couple. Registration can be dropped off at either the Callahan or Yulee Extension office. Both offices have a letter drop off in the door to make it convenient any time of day. Classes will be held on Saturday, February 11 and 18 - both days contain different topics. Time is 8am to noon at the Yulee Satellite office.
Notebooks, refreshments and plenty of garden material will be given away to participants. Classes will contain information on Florida Friendly plants, annuals, perennials, attracting wildlife, trees, shrubs, lawngrass, palms and citrus. Appropriate watering and fertilization methods will be discussed as well as proper pruning and plant selection.
