Louis Jordan

Louis Jordan's wild plum tree

Louis Jordon’s wild plum  tree is just one of many other apple and pear trees growing among the pine and grape orchard.  Mrs. Dorothy Richo is Louis Jordon’s mother, who was born on the property, which has been in the family for well over a hundred years.  Her mother was also born on the property and the first of the family to be free slaves.  Louis Jordon’s two grandsons, Jaylen Jordon and Cameron Jordon, are a couple of “chips off the old block” as they are some of Louis’s best trained helpers around the gardens.
