Spotlight on Nassau Gardens

A monthly recognition program for gardens of Nassau County

"Spotlight on Nassau Gardens,"  is a monthly recognition program of the UF/IFAS Nassau County Extension Service, featuring the beautiful gardens and plants grown by Nassau County residents.

Our purpose is to encourage gardeners who have worked hard to find unique ways to provide vegetable or flower gardens in their yard or patio. Your garden may be for your personal pleasure or perhaps for our furry and feathered friends. No garden will be excluded, whether large or small. We especially want to feature those landscapes where best management practices, such as lower water usage or easy to maintain plantings, are put into action.

We know there are plenty of Nassau County residents who can be an inspiration to any gardener from the beginner to the professional. So come on, let us "Spotlight" your creations and share them with the rest of the county.

To be considered, send a digital photo, with a description of your "Spotlight," along with your name, address and phone number to bwalker105@bellsouth.net. For more information, contact Rebecca Jordi at 548-1116.
