Spotlight on Nassau Gardens
Pam Veitch came from Maryland 4 years ago and bought a home on Amelia Island on the marsh. A local experienced landscaper replanted a lovely and fascinating yard for her She also gardened in Maryland and had many lovely flowers especially many beautiful Hydrangeas. She loves to save plant seeds from special plants such as the Sago Palm, the Umbrella Plant and Amaryllis and then plant them in the yard and watch them grow. She has learned how to propagate and does it well. Pam also looks for new ideas in local garden centers.
She is now retired but in her yard there is beautiful color and creativity. She loves music and teaches jazzercise and has lately joined the Amelia Island Art Association She also enjoys creating beautiful flower arrangements from green plants and flowers in her garden. Who knows what wonderful creative activity she will do next.
