Master Gardeners get training at Jacksonville Zoo

Thirteen Nassau County Master Gardeners got some advanced training recently when they took a guided tour of the horticulture areas and exhibits at the jacksonville Zoo and Gardens. Bob Chabot, the zoo's director of horticulture and facilities, and horticulturist Jennifer Best led the goup through Savannah Blooms, the Trout River Plaza and the Asian Gardens.

The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens serves as a horticulture center for all of Northeast Florida. Both individual and group tours are available. The zoo is at 370 Zoo Parkway in jacksonville. Phone 757-4463 for information.
